Growing up in an age where Arnold, Sly, and Van Damme were dominating the action movies, it was hard not to be inspired to train. That was me, I got the training vibe at an early age and so when it came to deciding my career path, Strength & Conditioning was a natural choice. Throughout my studies, I worked for a big National Leisure Club as a Personal Trainer and developed my skills as a Coach continually learning from others. Along the way, I put my preach into my daily practice and reaped the rewards, feeling healthy, motivated and winning some competitions along the way as well as featuring in magazines such as Men’s Health.

Soon after graduating I knew that I wanted to work in professional sport and through some perseverance I got the opportunity of a lifetime, working with two professional Scottish Rugby Union teams. Since then, I have traveled around the world working with the England Rugby League Team supporting them in tournaments and training camps leading into the World Cup. My training programmes and preparation were the feature of a published article on Muscle & Fitness during this prestigious competition. I have been lucky enough to spend four years in a sporting institute, supporting and witnessing future Olympic Gold medalists in their preparations and learning from the practices of their world-class Coaches.

In the latter half of my career in professional sport I was involved with championship teams striving to make it to the next level. From Rugby League at Bradford Bulls (where we just fell short in the last game); to Rugby Union at Yorkshire Carnegie; and in Football with Dundee United where we achieved promotion to the Premiership.

Furthermore, I have supported semi pro teams and coached players of varying goals, abilities, talent, and drive. My extensive experience has moulded the philosophy of ALLFIT where establishing the barriers to your exercise and fitness is the first step and using the resources and content to educate and structure your training puts you firmly on the road to success.
